बभ्रुवाहन-धनंजययोः संग्रामः
Babhruvāhana and Dhanaṃjaya’s engagement at Maṇipūra
दुःशला बालमादाय नप्तारं प्रययौ तदा । सुरथस्य सुतं वीर॑ रथेनाथागमत् तदा
Vaiśampāyana uvāca |
Duḥśalā bālam ādāya naptāraṃ prayayau tadā |
Surathasya sutaṃ vīra rathenāthāgamat tadā ||
Vaiśampāyana nói: Bấy giờ Duḥśalā lên đường, mang theo đứa trẻ—đứa cháu của bà. Rồi người con trai anh dũng của Suratha cũng đến nơi trên một cỗ chiến xa. Đoạn này nhấn mạnh bổn phận gia tộc và sự che chở: người phụ nữ dòng Kuru hành động dứt khoát để bảo toàn và đưa đón thế hệ kế tiếp, trong khi một đồng minh kṣatriya tiến đến, sẵn sàng trợ giúp.
