बभ्रुवाहन-धनंजययोः संग्रामः
Babhruvāhana and Dhanaṃjaya’s engagement at Maṇipūra
कृता विसंज्ञा भूयिष्ठा: क्लान्तवाहनसैनिका: । थोड़ी ही देरमें अर्जुनने युद्धस्थलमें झुकी हुई गाँठवाले बाणोंद्वारा अधिकांश सैन्धव वीरोंको संज्ञाशून्य कर दिया। उनके वाहन और सैनिक भी थकावटसे खिन्न हो रहे थे ।।
kṛtā visaṃjñā bhūyiṣṭhāḥ klāntavāhanasainikāḥ | tāṃstu sarvān pariglānān viditvā dhṛtarāṣṭrajāḥ ||
Vaiśampāyana nói: Phần lớn bọn họ bị đánh đến bất tỉnh, còn ngựa xe và binh lính thì kiệt sức, rã rời. Thấy tất cả đã mỏi mòn như vậy, các con của Dhṛtarāṣṭra liền nhận rõ tình thế—một hình ảnh cho thấy trong chiến tranh, bản lĩnh có thể nhanh chóng biến những kẻ kiêu hùng thành bất lực, và các thủ lĩnh bị thử thách bởi điều họ chọn làm khi đối phương đã suy yếu.
