Āśvamedhika Parva, Adhyāya 77 — Saindhava resistance, Arjuna’s restraint, and Duḥśalā’s supplication
ततः पर्जन्यवत् सर्वे शरवृष्टीरवासृजन् । तै: कीर्ण: शुशुभे पार्थो रविरमेघान्तरे यथा
tataḥ parjanyavat sarve śaravṛṣṭīr avāsṛjan | taiḥ kīrṇaḥ śuśubhe pārtho ravir ameghāntare yathā ||
Rồi tất cả các chiến binh, như những đám mây mang mưa, trút xuống một trận mưa tên. Bị những mũi tên ấy phủ kín và vây bủa, Pārtha Arjuna—con của Kuntī—vẫn rực sáng như mặt trời ẩn hiện trong tầng mây, ánh quang không hề suy giảm giữa bão chiến tranh.
