एवमुक्ते ततः कुन्तीं पर्यगृह्नाज्जनार्दन: । भूमौ निपतितां चैनां सान्त्वयामास भारत

Transliteration

evam ukte tataḥ kuntīṁ paryagṛhṇāj janārdanaḥ | bhūmau nipatitāṁ caināṁ sāntvayāmāsa bhārata ||

Translation

Khi những lời ấy vừa dứt, Janārdana (Kṛṣṇa) đỡ lấy Kuntī trong vòng tay nâng đỡ và giúp bà ngồi dậy. Thấy bà ngã trên đất, Ngài bắt đầu an ủi người cô bên nội của mình, hỡi Bhārata—một hành động làm sáng tỏ dharma như lòng trắc ẩn và bổn phận gia tộc giữa dư chấn của chiến tranh.
