Subhadrā’s Petition to Kṛṣṇa for the Revival of Parīkṣit (अभिमन्युज-प्राणरक्षा-प्रार्थना)
वासुदेव महाबाहो सुप्रजा देवकी त्वया । त्वं नो गति: प्रतिष्ठा च त्वदायत्तमिदं कुलम्
vāsudeva mahābāho suprajā devakī tvayā | tvaṃ no gatiḥ pratiṣṭhā ca tvadāyattam idaṃ kulam ||
Vaiśampāyana thưa: “Ô Vāsudeva, bậc dũng lực! Nhờ có Người mà Devakī mới được kể là người mẹ có người con ưu tú. Người là nơi nương tựa và chỗ dựa vững bền của chúng ta; việc gìn giữ và nối tiếp dòng tộc này đều đặt dưới sự hộ trì của Người.”
