Parīkṣit-janma-saṃkaṭa and Kuntī’s petition to Vāsudeva (परिक्षिज्जन्मसंकटं कुन्त्याः प्रार्थना च)
सा पुराभिमुखा राजन्नुवाह महती चमू: । कृच्छाद् द्रविणभारार्ता हर्षयन्ती कुरूद्वहान्
sā purābhimukhā rājann uvāha mahatī camūḥ | kṛcchād draviṇabhārārtā harṣayantī kurūdvahān ||
Vaiśampāyana thưa: “Tâu Đại vương, đạo quân mênh mông ấy tiến thẳng về phía thành. Bị gánh nặng của kho báu đè nén, họ chỉ có thể bước tới trong muôn phần gian khó; nhưng chính khi mang báu vật ấy đi, họ lại làm dâng lên niềm vui và lòng kiêu hãnh của các dũng sĩ Kuru bậc nhất.”
