Abhimanyunidhana-prakāśaḥ — Vasudeva–Kṛṣṇa–Subhadrā–Kuntī śoka-saṃvāda

शिखण्डी पाण्डुपुत्राणां नेता सप्तचमूपति: । बभूव रक्षितो धीमान् श्रीमता सव्यसाचिना
śikhaṇḍī pāṇḍuputrāṇāṁ netā saptacamūpatiḥ | babhūva rakṣito dhīmān śrīmatā savyasācinā ||
Vāsudeva nói: “Śikhaṇḍī trở thành tướng chỉ huy của các con Pāṇḍu, lãnh đạo bảy đạo quân (akṣauhiṇī). Vị chiến sĩ trí tuệ ấy được Savyasācin (Arjuna) lẫy lừng che chở.” Về mặt đạo lý, câu kệ nêu bật kỷ luật trong lãnh đạo và bổn phận bảo hộ trong chính nghĩa: quyền chỉ huy đi đôi với trách nhiệm, và sức mạnh được dẫn dắt bởi sự thận trọng sáng suốt.
