ह्वियमाणे तु दृष्टवा स कुण्डले भुजगेन ह
hviyamāṇe tu dṛṣṭvā sa kuṇḍale bhujagena ha
Vaiśaṃpāyana nói: Thấy con rắn mang đôi khuyên tai đi mất, hiền giả Uttaṅka bàng hoàng kinh hãi. Bị cơn thịnh nộ dữ dội cuốn trùm, ông nhảy phắt xuống khỏi cây, chộp lấy một cây gậy gỗ và bắt đầu đào ụ mối—vì bổn phận phải đoạt lại vật bị cướp và sửa cho ngay hành vi chiếm đoạt phi nghĩa.
