वैशम्पायन उवाच इत्युक्त: स तदा राज्ञा क्षमं बुद्धिमता हितम् । अनुज्ञाप्य स राजानमहल्यां प्रतिजग्मिवान्
Vaiśampāyana uvāca: ity uktaḥ sa tadā rājñā kṣamaṁ buddhimatā hitam | anujñāpya sa rājānam ahalyāṁ pratijagmivān ||
Vaiśampāyana nói: Được nhà vua—bậc trí—nói như vậy, và nghe những lời hợp lẽ, hữu ích, hiền giả Uttaṅka xin phép nhà vua rồi lại lên đường hướng về Ahalyā.
