न चान्वबुध्यत तदा स मुनिर्गुरुवत्सल: । ततः कदाचिद्‌ राजेन्द्र काष्ठान्यानयितुं ययौ

na cānvabudhyata tadā sa munir guruvatsalaḥ | tataḥ kadācid rājendra kāṣṭhāny ānayituṃ yayau ||

Khi ấy, vị hiền nhân—người một lòng kính mến thầy—vẫn không nhận ra điều gì đang thực sự diễn ra. Rồi, hỡi bậc vương giả tối thượng, có một lần ông ra ngoài để kiếm củi.
