Uttaṅka’s Petition for Madayantī’s Divine Earrings (Maṇikuṇḍala) — Agreement, Proof, and Vigilance
स तथेति प्रतिश्रुत्य जगाम जनमेजय । गुरुपत्नीप्रियार्थ वै ते समानयितुं तदा
sa tatheti pratiśrutya jagāma janamejaya | gurupatnīpriyārthaṃ vai te samānayituṃ tadā ||
Vaiśampāyana nói: “Xin vâng,” chàng đã hứa với vua Janamejaya; rồi lập tức lên đường để tìm lấy đôi khuyên tai ấy, với ý nguyện làm trọn điều mong mỏi thân yêu của phu nhân thầy mình.
