Uttaṅka’s Petition for Madayantī’s Divine Earrings (Maṇikuṇḍala) — Agreement, Proof, and Vigilance
यद् दुर्लभं हि लोकेडस्मिन् रत्नमत्यद्भुतं महत् | तदानयेयं तपसा न हि मे<त्रास्ति संशय:
yad durlabhaṁ hi loke 'smin ratnam atyadbhutaṁ mahat | tad ānaye'yaṁ tapasā na hi me 'trāsti saṁśayaḥ ||
Gautama nói: “Bất cứ bảo vật nào trong cõi đời này cực kỳ hiếm có—kỳ diệu và vĩ đại—con cũng có thể đem về nhờ sức mạnh của khổ hạnh. Về điều ấy, trong lòng con không hề nghi ngờ.”
