जग्राहाश्रूणि सुश्रोणी करेण पृथुलोचना । पितुर्नियोगाद्‌ धर्मज्ञा शिरसावनता तदा

jagrāhāśrūṇi suśroṇī kareṇa pṛthulocanā | piturniyogād dharmajñā śirasāvanatā tadā ||

Vaiśampāyana nói: Bấy giờ người thiếu nữ cao quý—eo thon, mắt lớn—đưa tay lau nước mắt. Hiểu rõ điều hợp với dharma, và vâng theo mệnh lệnh của phụ thân, nàng cúi đầu thuận phục.
