Adhyātma-Upadeśa
एतत् पदमनुद्धिग्नं वरिष्ठ धर्मलक्षणम् । उस विषयको यहाँ पूर्णतया सुनकर अच्छी प्रकार धारण करो। सब प्राणियोंकी अहिंसा ही सर्वोत्तम कर्तव्य है--ऐसा माना गया है। यह साधन उद्देगरहित
etad padam anuddhignaṁ variṣṭha-dharma-lakṣaṇam | yathārṇavaṁ mahāghoram aplavaḥ sampragāhate | bāhubhyām eva sammohād vardha vāñchaty asaṁśayam ||
Thần Vāyu nói: “Đây là con đường không xao động (không sợ hãi), là dấu ấn tối thượng của dharma. Như kẻ mê muội bước vào biển cả mênh mông, ghê rợn mà không có thuyền, lại tin rằng chỉ bơi bằng đôi tay là sẽ qua được—không nghi ngờ gì, hắn đang tự rước lấy diệt vong. Cũng vậy, không nương tựa vào tri kiến chân thật, không ai có thể vượt qua biển sinh tử của đời.”
