समस्तमिह तच्छुत्वा सम्यगेवावधार्यताम् | अहिंसा सर्वभूतानामेतत् कृत्यतमं मतम्
samastam iha tac chrutvā samyag evāvadhāryatām | ahiṃsā sarvabhūtānām etat kṛtyatamaṃ matam ||
Nghe trọn điều ấy tại đây rồi, hãy thấu hiểu cho đúng và ghi giữ vững trong lòng: bất bạo lực đối với mọi loài hữu tình được xem là bổn phận cấp thiết nhất.
