Adhyāya 48: Brahmopadeśa on Prāṇāyāma, Sāttvika Vṛtti, and the Sattva–Kṣetrajña Question
गुरुऱ्वाच इत्युक्तवन्तस्ते विप्रास्तदा लोकपितामहम् । पुन: संशयमापन्ना: पप्रच्छुर्मुनिसत्तमा:
gurur uvāca ity uktavantās te viprās tadā lokapitāmaham | punaḥ saṁśayam āpannāḥ papracchur munisattamāḥ ||
Vāyu nói: “Khi bậc Thầy đã nói như vậy, các hiền giả Bà-la-môn ấy, thưa với Đấng Tổ Phụ của muôn loài (Brahmā), lại rơi vào nghi hoặc. Vì thế, vào lúc ấy, những vị khổ hạnh bậc nhất lại một lần nữa thỉnh hỏi Ngài—mong được sáng tỏ, để sự hiểu biết của họ an trú trên sự phân biệt vững chắc chứ không trên ngờ vực.”
