Book 14, Chapter 43

मनसश्च गुणश्रिन्ता प्रज्ञया स तु गृहाते । हृदिस्थश्लेतनो धातुर्मनोज्ञाने विधीयते

manasaś ca guṇa-cintā prajñayā sa tu gṛhyate | hṛdi-sthaś cetano dhātur mano-jñāne vidhīyate ||

Vāyu nói: “Tâm vận hành trong sự suy niệm các phẩm tính, và sự suy niệm ấy được nhận biết nhờ trí phân biệt (prajñā). Nguyên lý ý thức—tự ngã nội tại—ngự trong tim được đặt làm trợ lực cho hành vi biết và quán chiếu của tâm.”
