स्थलमापस्तथा55काशं जन्म चापि चतुर्विधम् | अण्डजोद्धिज्जसंस्वेदजरायुजमथापि च
sthalam āpas tathākāśaṃ janma cāpi caturvidham | aṇḍajodbhijja-saṃsvedaja-rāyujam athāpi ca ||
Vāyu-deva nói: “Có các cõi của đất, nước và hư không; và sự sinh ra cũng có bốn loại—loài sinh từ trứng, loài mọc từ đất, loài sinh từ mồ hôi hay ẩm khí, và loài sinh từ bào thai.”
