Adhyāya 40: Brahmā on Mahān (The Great Principle) and the All-Pervading Puruṣa
एवं हि यो वेद गुहाशयं प्रभु परं पुराणं पुरुष विश्वरूपम् । हिरण्मयं बुद्धिमतां परां गतिं स बुद्धिमान बुद्धिमतीत्य तिषछठति
evaṁ hi yo veda guhāśayaṁ prabhuṁ paraṁ purāṇaṁ puruṣaṁ viśvarūpam | hiraṇmayaṁ buddhimatāṁ parāṁ gatiṁ sa buddhimān buddhim atītya tiṣṭhati ||
Vāyu nói: Ai thật sự biết Đấng Tối Thượng ngự trong “hang động” kín nhiệm của trái tim—siêu việt, nguyên thủy, Nhân Vật Vũ Trụ mang hình tướng phổ quát—rực sáng như vàng (hiraṇmaya) và là cứu cánh tối thượng của bậc hiền trí, người ấy trở nên bậc trí chân thật và đứng vượt ngoài giới hạn của trí năng thường tình. Lời dạy đặt sự chứng ngộ nội tâm lên trên lối suy luận thuần lý: nhận ra Đấng tự hiển lộ, tự đầy đủ ở ngay bên trong, người ta vượt qua ranh giới của tính toán tâm trí và đạt đến điều thiện tối thượng.
