तस्य कारन्धम: पुत्रस्त्रेतायुगमुखेड भवत्‌ । इन्द्रादनवर: श्रीमान्‌ देवैरपि सुदुर्जय:

Transliteration

tasya kārandhamaḥ putras tretāyuga-mukhe 'bhavat | indrād anavaraḥ śrīmān devair api sudurjayaḥ ||

Translation

Vyāsa nói: Vào buổi bình minh của thời đại Tretā-yuga, ông có một người con trai tên là Kārandhama. Rực rỡ và hiển hách, người con ấy chẳng hề kém Indra; ngay cả chư thiên cũng sẽ thấy việc đánh bại chàng là vô cùng khó khăn.
