अन्यथा प्रतिपन्नास्तु विवृद्धा ये च कर्मण: । स्वकर्मनिरतानां च ब्राह्मणानां शुभैषिणाम्
anyathā pratipannās tu vivṛddhā ye ca karmaṇaḥ | svakarmaniratānāṃ ca brāhmaṇānāṃ śubhaiṣiṇām ||
Vāyu nói: “Những hữu tình đã đi theo nẻo trái—mắc sâu trong hành nghiệp—khi quả báo của nghiệp ác đã tiêu tận và công đức đã làm từ trước bắt đầu trỗi dậy, thì nhờ sức mạnh của các ấn tượng do thiện hạnh để lại (saṃskāra), họ đạt đến địa vị của các Bà-la-môn, những người chuyên chú vào bổn phận của mình và cầu điều lành. Nghĩa là họ sinh vào những gia tộc ấy; tại đó họ lại tinh cần, vươn lên, và đi đến cõi trời của chư thiên—đó là điều mặc khải Veda tuyên dạy.”
