अध्वर्यु–यति संवादः

Adhvaryu–Yati Dialogue on Svabhāva, Ahiṃsā, and Mokṣa

प्रोक्ष्यमाणं पशुं दृष्टवा यज्ञकर्मण्यथाब्रवीत्‌ । यतिरध्वर्युमासीनो हिंसेयमिति कुत्सयन्‌

prokṣyamāṇaṃ paśuṃ dṛṣṭvā yajñakarmaṇy athābravīt | yatir adhvaryum āsīno hiṃseyam iti kutsayan ||

Thấy một con vật đang được rảy nước thánh theo nghi thức tế tự, một vị ẩn tu Yati ngồi tại đó liền lên tiếng với vị tư tế Adhvaryu, lời lẽ quở trách: “Đây là bạo hại; sẽ chuốc lấy tội lỗi.”
