व्याधि-गुण-साम्योपदेशः | Discourse on Affliction, Guṇa-Equilibrium, and the Inner Battle
यत्र नैव शरै: कार्य न भृत्यैर्न च बन्धुभि: । आत्मनैकेन योद्धव्यं तत् ते युद्धमुपस्थितम्
yatra naiva śaraiḥ kāryaṁ na bhṛtyair na ca bandhubhiḥ | ātmanāikena yoddhavyaṁ tat te yuddham upasthitam ||
Ở nơi mà mũi tên chẳng còn ích gì, tôi tớ cũng không, đến cả thân tộc cũng không—ở đó ngươi phải tự mình chiến đấu, một mình với chính mình. Trận chiến ấy nay đã đến trước mặt ngươi. Thần Gió chỉ ra một cuộc giao tranh nội tâm, cô độc, nơi sức mạnh bên ngoài và chỗ dựa xã hội không thể định đoạt; chỉ có ý chí, tự chế và sự giữ vững dharma mới quyết định thắng bại.
