Āśramāgamanam — The Pāṇḍavas Arrive at Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Hermitage

धृतराष्ट्रस्थ च तदा दिव्यं चक्षुर्नराधिप । मुनि: सत्यवतीपुत्र: प्रीत: प्रादात्‌ तपोबलात्‌,नरेश्वरर उस समय सत्यवतीनन्दन मुनिवर व्यासने प्रसन्न होकर अपने तपोबलसे धृतराष्ट्रको दिव्य नेत्र प्रदान किये

dhṛtarāṣṭrasya ca tadā divyaṃ cakṣur narādhipa | muniḥ satyavatīputraḥ prītaḥ prādāt tapobalāt ||

Vaiśampāyana nói: Rồi, hỡi đại vương, hiền triết Vyāsa—con của Satyavatī—vui lòng mà dùng sức khổ hạnh ban cho Dhṛtarāṣṭra “thiên nhãn”. Trong mạch truyện, ân huệ ấy là sự can thiệp từ bi của bậc giác ngộ, trao cả cái thấy bên ngoài lẫn nội tâm cho người đã lâu không có thị lực, và nhấn mạnh rằng công đức tâm linh có thể được dùng vì lợi ích và sự tỉnh thức của kẻ khác.
