धृतराष्ट्रस्य पाण्डवेषु प्रीति-वृत्तान्तः | Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Affectionate Disposition toward the Pāṇḍavas
व्यायामश्नायमत्यर्थ कृतस्त्वामभियाचता । ततो ग्लानमनास्तात नष्टसंज्ञ इवाभवम्,तात! तुमसे अनुरोध करनेके लिये बोलते समय मुझे बड़ा भारी परिश्रम करना पड़ा है। अत: क्षीणशक्ति होकर मैं अचेत-सा हो गया था
vyāyāmaśnāyam atyarthaṃ kṛtas tvām abhiyācatā | tato glānamano 'smi tāta naṣṭasaṃjña iva abhavam ||
Dhṛtarāṣṭra nói: “Con ơi, ngay trong lúc cất lời thỉnh cầu với con, ta đã phải gắng sức quá mức. Vì vậy tâm trí mỏi mệt, sức lực cạn dần, và ta như kẻ mất đi tri giác.”
