धृतराष्ट्रस्य पाण्डवेषु प्रीति-वृत्तान्तः | Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Affectionate Disposition toward the Pāṇḍavas
स मां त्वं यदि राजेन्द्र परित्यज्य गमिष्यसि | पृष्ठतस्त्वनुयास्थामि सत्यमात्मानमालभे,राजन्! यदि आप मुझे छोड़कर चले जायूँगे तो मैं अपनी सौगन्ध खाकर सत्य कहता हूँ कि मैं भी आपके पीछे-पीछे चल दूँगा
sa māṁ tvaṁ yadi rājendra parityajya gamiṣyasi | pṛṣṭhatas tv anuyāsthāmi satyam ātmānam ālabhe, rājan |
Yudhiṣṭhira nói: “Ôi bậc vương giả tối thượng, nếu ngài ra đi mà bỏ ta lại, thì ta xin thề lấy chính thân mình và nói lời chân thật: ta sẽ theo sau ngài, từng bước một, hỡi Đại vương.”
