धृतराष्ट्रस्य पाण्डवेषु प्रीति-वृत्तान्तः | Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Affectionate Disposition toward the Pāṇḍavas
वृकोदरस्य ता वाच: श्रुत्वा निर्वेदमागमत् । ये तथा और भी नाना प्रकारकी भीमसेनकी कही हुई कठोर बातें जो हृदयमें काँटोंके समान कसक पैदा करनेवाली थीं, राजा धृतराष्ट्रने सुनीं। सुनकर उन्हें बड़ा खेद हुआ ।।

vṛkodarasya tā vācaḥ śrutvā nirvedam āgamat |
Vaiśampāyana nói: Nghe những lời của Vṛkodara (Bhīma), vua Dhṛtarāṣṭra bị tràn ngập bởi nỗi hối hận sâu xa và tâm ly tham. Lời nói gay gắt của Bhīma, nhói như gai trong tim, khiến Dhṛtarāṣṭra đau đớn vì ân hận.
