अश्रमवासिनां विषादः — Lament in Hastināpura after the Elders’ Forest Withdrawal

संशयच्छेदनार्थाय प्राप्त: कौरवनन्दन । “कौरवनन्दन! नरेश्वर! वास्तवमें तुम सब लोगोंका यह समागम सुनकर तुम्हारे मानसिक संदेहोंका निवारण करनेके लिये मैं यहाँ आया हूँ

saṁśaya-cchedanārthāya prāptaḥ kauravanandana |

Vaiśampāyana nói: «Hỡi niềm tự hào của dòng Kuru, bậc quân vương! Ta đến đây để chặt đứt nghi hoặc. Nghe tin về cuộc hội tụ này, ta đã đến để xua tan những điều còn mơ hồ trong tâm trí ngài.»
