कुन्तीनिवर्तनप्रयत्नः तथा वननिवासप्रारम्भः

अस्यास्तु पाश्वे कनकोत्तमा भा यैषा प्रभा मूर्तिमतीव सौमी । मध्ये स्थिता सा भगिनी द्विजाग्रया- श्रक्रायुधस्याप्रतिमस्य तस्य

Transliteration

sañjaya uvāca |

asyāstu pārśve kanakottamābhā yaiṣā prabhā mūrtimatīva saumī |

madhye sthitā sā bhaginī dvijāgryā śakrāyudhasyāpratimasya tasya ||

Translation

Sañjaya nói: “Bên cạnh nàng là một phụ nữ có hào quang đẹp hơn cả vàng—như ánh trăng dịu hiền hiện hữu thành hình. Ngồi giữa các nữ nhân, hỡi bậc Bà-la-môn tối thượng, đó là Subhadrā, em gái của đấng cầm đĩa thần (Śrī Kṛṣṇa) vô song, quyền năng không ai sánh kịp.”
