धृतराष्ट्रस्य क्षमायाचनं तथा युधिष्ठिरे न्यासदानम् / Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Request for Forgiveness and the Entrustment to Yudhiṣṭhira

अगन्निहोत्रं पुरस्कृत्य वल्कलाजिनसंवृत: । वधूजनवृतो राजा निर्ययौ भवनात्‌ ततः

Transliteration

vaiśampāyana uvāca |

agannihotraṃ puraskṛtya valkalājinasaṃvṛtaḥ |

vadhūjanavṛto rājā niryayau bhavanāt tataḥ ||

Translation

Vaiśampāyana nói: “Đặt Agnihotra đi trước, nhà vua—mặc áo vỏ cây và khoác da nai—rời khỏi cung điện. Được các nàng dâu vây quanh, ngài bước ra, như một sự quay lưng có chủ ý với tiện nghi vương quyền để hướng đến đời sống khổ hạnh có kỷ luật và bổn phận.”
