द्वादशोड् ध्याय: अर्जुनका भीमको समझाना और युधिष्ठिरका धृतराष्ट्रको यथेष्ट धन देनेकी स्वीकृति प्रदान करना अजुन उवाच भीम ज्येष्ठो गुरुमें त्वं नातो<न्यद् वक्तुमुत्सहे । धृतराष्ट्रस्तु राजर्षि: सर्वथा मानमहति
arjuna uvāca | bhīma jyeṣṭho gurur me tvaṁ nāto 'nyad vaktum utsahe | dhṛtarāṣṭras tu rājarṣiḥ sarvathā mānam arhati ||
Arjuna nói: “Anh Bhīmasena, anh là anh cả của em và cũng như bậc thầy dẫn dắt; vì thế, trước mặt anh, em không dám nói gì hơn điều này: vua Dhṛtarāṣṭra, bậc ‘hiền vương’, xét mọi lẽ đều đáng được tôn kính.”
