सूर्य उवाच महर्षे शिरसस्त्राणं छत्र॑ मद्रश्मिवारणम्‌ । प्रतिगृह्लीष्व पद्भ्यां च त्राणार्थ चर्मपादुके

sūrya uvāca | maharṣe śirasaḥ trāṇaṁ chatraṁ mad-raśmi-vāraṇam | pratigṛhlīṣva padbhyāṁ ca trāṇārthaṁ carma-pāduke ||

Surya nói: “Hỡi bậc đại hiền, xin nhận chiếc lọng này để che chở cho đầu ngài; nó sẽ ngăn những tia nắng của ta. Và xin nhận đôi dép da này nữa, được dâng để bảo vệ đôi chân ngài khỏi bị thiêu rát.”
