नैव लोभ॑ तदा चक्रुस्तत: स्वर्गमवाप्रुवन्‌

Transliteration

naiva lobhaṁ tadā cakrus tataḥ svargam avāpruvan

Translation

Bhīṣma nói: Dẫu vậy, họ vẫn không buông mình theo lòng tham; bởi thế họ đạt đến cõi trời. Tuy cực kỳ đói khát và bị những bậc quyền quý dùng muôn thứ hưởng lạc để dụ dỗ, các bậc đại hồn ấy vẫn không khuất phục trước dục vọng—vì vậy họ giành được cảnh giới thiên giới.
