अथ कृत्वोपहार्याणि चतुर्दश्यां महामति: । तमेव गणयन् शोक विरात्रे प्रत्यबुध्यत
Translation
Bấy giờ, bậc đại trí Nimi đã gom góp mọi vật phẩm đáng dâng trong lễ śrāddha vào ngày Chaturdaśī. Vẫn chỉ đếm từng nhịp sầu thương vì con, ông để đêm trôi qua; rồi khi trời vừa rạng (để cử hành śrāddha vào ngày Amāvāsyā), ông thức dậy vào buổi sớm.
