एवं रामाय कौरव्य वसिष्ठोडकथयत्‌ पुरा | तस्मात्‌ सुवर्णदानाय प्रयतस्व नराधिप

Transliteration

evaṁ rāmāya kauravya vasiṣṭho ’kathayat purā | tasmāt suvarṇa-dānāya prayatasva narādhipa kuru-nandana nareśvara ||

Translation

Bhīṣma nói: “Hỡi Kauravya, thuở xưa hiền triết Vasiṣṭha đã kể trọn câu chuyện này cho Rāma (Paraśurāma)—về nguồn gốc của vàng và sự vĩ đại của nó. Vì thế, hỡi đại vương, hỡi niềm hân hoan của dòng Kuru, hãy chuyên tâm nỗ lực bố thí vàng.”
