Offerings for Ancestors and Their Stated Results

शुक्रो वरेण्यश्न विभु: सवनश्चेति सप्त ते । भार्गवा वारुणा: सर्वे येषां वंशे भवानपि

Transliteration

śukro vareṇyaś ca vibhuḥ savanaś ceti sapta te | bhārgavā vāruṇāḥ sarve yeṣāṁ vaṁśe bhavān api ||

Translation

Vasiṣṭha nói: “Śukra, Vareṇya, Vibhu và Savana—cùng với những vị đã kể tên trước—hợp lại thành đủ bảy. Tất cả đều là Bhārgava và theo truyền thống được gọi là ‘Vāruṇa’; và ngươi cũng sinh ra trong chính dòng ấy.”
