Śrāddha-Kalpa: Pitṛ-Pūjā and Tithi-Phala (श्राद्धकल्पः पितृपूजा च तिथिफलम्)
उत्पपात तदा वह्नौ ववृधे चादूभुतोपमम् । तेजस्तेजसि संयुक्तमात्मयोनित्वमागतम्
utpapāta tadā vahnau vavṛdhe cādūbhutopamam | tejas tejasi saṃyuktam ātmayonitvam āgatam ||
Bhīṣma nói: “Rồi ánh quang ấy bùng lên trong lửa và lớn dậy đến mức kỳ diệu, không gì sánh nổi. Hòa cùng quang huy của chính ngọn lửa, ánh quang ấy mang lấy trạng thái ‘tự sinh’, hiển lộ thành một Đấng Tự Hữu—một sự xuất hiện khiến người ta kinh ngạc từ trong ngọn lửa tế tự.”
