Śrāddha-Kalpa: Pitṛ-Pūjā and Tithi-Phala (श्राद्धकल्पः पितृपूजा च तिथिफलम्)
ततोडग्रतस्ततः सिद्धानुपवेश्य बहूनूषीन् | तोयप्रदानात् प्रभृति कार्याण्यहमथारभम्,तदनन्तर अपने सामने बहुत-से सिद्ध-महर्षियोंको बिठाकर मैंने जलदान आदि सारे कार्य आरम्भ किये
tato ’gratas tataḥ siddhān upaveśya bahūn ṛṣīn | toyapradānāt prabhṛti kāryāṇy aham athārabham |
Bhīṣma nói: “Rồi ta cho nhiều bậc hiền triết đã chứng đắc, các vị ṛṣi, ngồi trước mặt; và ta bắt đầu các nghi thức theo đúng thứ tự—khởi đầu bằng việc dâng nước—mở ra chuỗi bổn phận như pháp.”
