अन्न हि परमं गावो देवानां परमं हवि: । स्वाहाकारवषट्कारीौ गोषु नित्यं प्रतिक्ठिती
Translation
Bhishma nói: «Bò là nguồn đem lại lương thực tối thượng; bò cũng là lễ vật (havis) tối thượng dâng lên chư thiên. Tiếng xướng ‘svāhā’ và ‘vaṣaṭ’ trong nghi lễ tế tự—hai hành tác ấy—vốn luôn nương tựa nơi bò.»
