Brāhmaṇa-vandana: Criteria for Veneration, Disciplined Speech, and Protective Kingship (अनुशासनपर्व, अध्याय ८)
पश्यामि लोकानमलान् शुचीन् ब्राह्मणयायिन: । तेषु मे तात गन्तव्यमह्वाय च चिराय च
paśyāmi lokān amalān śucīn brāhmaṇayāyinaḥ | teṣu me tāta gantavyam āhvāya ca cirāya ca ||
Bhishma nói: “Con yêu dấu, từ nơi đây ta nhìn thấy những cõi giới tinh khiết, không vết nhơ, mà những người sống tận hiến trong sự phụng sự và con đường của các Bà-la-môn đạt đến. Nay ta sẽ được gọi rời đi đến chính những cảnh giới ấy—chẳng bao lâu nữa, và trong một thời gian rất dài.”
