Merit and Destinations from the Gift of Cows
शुश्रूषते यः पितरं न चासूयेत् कदाचन । मातरं भ्रातरं वापि गुरुमाचार्यमेव च
śuśrūṣate yaḥ pitaraṃ na cāsūyet kadācana | mātaraṃ bhrātaraṃ vāpi gurum ācāryam eva ca ||
Bhīṣma nói: “Người nào phụng sự cha mình và không bao giờ sinh lòng đố kỵ hay soi lỗi—cũng phụng sự mẹ, anh cả, cùng vị guru và thầy dạy—tâu Đại vương, hãy biết quả báo của người ấy. Người ấy đạt một địa vị được tôn kính nơi cõi trời; và nhờ sức mạnh của sự tận tụy hầu hạ bậc thầy, lại tự chế ngự, người ấy không bao giờ phải thấy địa ngục.”
