Nṛga-upākhyāna: Brāhmaṇa-sva and the Consequence of Misappropriated Gift-Cattle (कृकलास-रूपे नृगोपाख्यानम्)

भीष्म उवाच शृणुष्व मम कौन्तेय तिलदानस्य यत्‌ फलम्‌ | निशम्य च यथान्यायं प्रयच्छ कुरुसत्तम,भीष्मजीने कहा--कुन्तीनन्दन! कुरुश्रेष्ठ! तिलदानका जो फल है, वह मुझसे सुनो और सुनकर यथोचित रूपसे उसका दान करो

bhīṣma uvāca: śṛṇuṣva mama kaunteya tiladānasya yat phalam | niśamya ca yathānyāyaṁ prayaccha kuru-sattama ||

Bhīṣma nói: “Hỡi con của Kuntī, hỡi bậc ưu tú trong dòng Kuru, hãy nghe ta nói về quả của việc bố thí vừng (mè). Nghe rồi, hãy bố thí cho đúng phép, đúng lẽ.”
