Gopradāna–Bhūmidāna Guidelines and Recipient Eligibility
निदाघकाले वर्षे वा यश्छत्र॑ सम्प्रयच्छति । नास्य कश्रचिन्मनोदाह: कदाचिदपि जायते । कृच्छात् स विषमाच्चैव क्षिप्रं मोक्षमवाप्तुते
nidāghakāle varṣe vā yaś chatraṃ samprayacchati | nāsya kaścin manodāhaḥ kadācid api jāyate | kṛcchāt sa viṣamāc caiva kṣipraṃ mokṣam avāpnute ||
Bhīṣma nói: Dù vào mùa nắng gắt hay mùa mưa, người bố thí chiếc dù sẽ không bao giờ chịu “lửa đốt” trong lòng, không khởi ưu não. Ngay cả từ cảnh khốn cùng hiểm nghèo, người ấy cũng mau chóng được giải thoát và an ổn.
