Adhyāya 59: On Giving to the Asker and Supporting the Non-asking (याचक-अयाचक-दाने धर्मः)
बाढमेवं करिष्यामि काम त्वत्तो महामुने । ब्रह्मभूतं कुलं मे5स्तु धर्मे चास्य मनो भवेत्
bāḍham evaṁ kariṣyāmi kāma tvatto mahāmune | brahmabhūtaṁ kulaṁ me 'stu dharme cāsya mano bhavet ||
“Vâng, con sẽ làm đúng như vậy. Nhưng bạch đại hiền giả, con xin một ân huệ từ ngài: xin cho dòng tộc của con trở nên thật sự mang phẩm chất Bà-la-môn, và tâm ý của dòng ấy luôn chuyên chú nơi dharma.”
