Adhyāya 57: Tapas–Dāna Phala
On the Fruits of Austerity and Giving
विस्मयं परम॑ प्राप्तस्तद् दृष्टया महदद्भुतम् । ततः प्रोवाच कुशिको भार्या हर्षसमन्वित:
vismayaṁ paramaṁ prāptas tad dṛṣṭvā mahad adbhutam | tataḥ provāca kuśiko bhāryāṁ harṣa-samanvitaḥ ||
Bhishma nói: “Thấy kỳ tích lớn lao ấy, vua Kushika tràn ngập kinh ngạc tột bậc. Rồi, lòng hân hoan, nhà vua cất lời với hoàng hậu—bị lay động bởi điều vừa chứng kiến.”
