इस प्रकार श्रीमहद्याभारत अनुशासनपर्वके अन्तर्गत दानधर्मपर्वमें च्चवनका उपाख्यानविषयक इक्यावनवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ

iti prakāraṃ śrīmahābhārate anuśāsanaparvaṇi antargata-dānadharmaparvaṇi cyavanopākhyāna-viṣayaka ekapañcāśattamo 'dhyāyaḥ samāptaḥ

Translation

Như vậy kết thúc chương thứ năm mươi mốt của Anuśāsana Parva trong đại sử thi Mahābhārata, thuộc phần Dāna-dharma Parva (pháp về bố thí), thuật chuyện tích Cyavana. Lời kết này đánh dấu sự hoàn tất của đơn vị tự sự ấy, đồng thời nhấn mạnh khuôn khổ đạo lý của câu chuyện trong những lời dạy về lòng hào hiệp và hạnh đúng đắn.
