गोमूल्यनिर्णयः — The Determination of Value through the Cow
Nahuṣa–Cyavana Episode
बन्दी तु जायते वैश्यान्मागधो वाक्यजीवन: । शूद्रान्निषादो मत्स्यघ्न: क्षत्रियायां व्यतिक्रमात्
bhīṣma uvāca | bandī tu jāyate vaiśyān māgadho vākyajīvanaḥ | śūdrān niṣādo matsyaghnaḥ kṣatriyāyāṃ vyatikramāt ||
Bhīṣma nói: Từ một người nam Phệ-xá, khi có sự kết hợp trái phép với một nữ Sát-đế-lỵ, sẽ sinh ra con trai gọi là Bandī hay Māgadha; người ấy sống bằng lời nói—bằng việc ca tụng và xướng danh người khác. Cũng vậy, từ một nam Thủ-đà-la, do sự vượt rào như thế với nữ Sát-đế-lỵ, phát sinh hạng Niṣāda, nghề nghiệp là giết cá.
