विदित्वा च दृढां भक्ति तां शुके शीलसम्पदम्‌ | प्रीत: क्षिप्रमथो वृक्षममृतेनावसिक्तवान्‌

Transliteration

viditvā ca dṛḍhāṃ bhaktiṃ tāṃ śuke śīla-sampadam | prītaḥ kṣipram atho vṛkṣam amṛtenāvasiktavān |

Translation

Bhīṣma nói: Nhận ra nơi Śuka lòng sùng kính kiên định cùng gia tài của hạnh đức, Indra càng thêm hoan hỷ. Ngay lập tức, trong niềm vui ấy, ngài rưới lên cây dòng cam lộ—như một dấu hiệu rằng lòng thành kết hợp với đức hạnh sẽ cảm động thần linh và đem lại kết quả nuôi dưỡng sự sống.
