Adhyāya 39 — Yudhiṣṭhira’s inquiry on attachment (saṅga) and relational restraint
सोऊहं वागग्रमृष्टानां रसानामवलेहक: । स्वजात्यानधितिष्ठामि नक्षत्राणीव चन्द्रमा:
so ’haṃ vāg-agra-mṛṣṭānāṃ rasānām avalehakaḥ | sva-jātyān adhitiṣṭhāmi nakṣatrāṇīva candramāḥ ||
Śambara nói: “Ta không ngừng nếm và thưởng thức vị ngọt tinh túy tuôn chảy từ lời họ—những lời đã được gọt giũa ngay nơi đầu ngọn của tiếng nói. Vì thế, như trăng ngự trên muôn sao, ta nắm quyền và cai quản những kẻ đồng loại của ta.”
