kāśirājyaṃ tad adyaiva tvad-arthaṃ jīvitaṃ tathā | tyajeyaṃ bhava viśrabdhaḥ kapota na bhayaṃ tava ||
Bhīṣma nói: “Hỡi chim bồ câu, vì ngươi mà ngay hôm nay ta sẽ từ bỏ vương quốc Kāśī—thậm chí cả mạng sống của chính ta. Hãy tin ta và an lòng; ngươi không còn gì phải sợ.”
